M A Rarinca Fixing Ltd has been involved in the major refurbishment of Citi Tower (25 Canada Square), one of the most significant commercial office retrofit projects in Canary Wharf, London. The project forms part of a large-scale façade replacement and building modernisation programme designed to extend the service life of the tower while improving performance, sustainability, and aesthetics.
Working as a specialist façade installation contractor, MAR carried out a wide range of activities including:
The refurbishment involved the removal and replacement of an existing façade system that had been in service for approximately 25 years. Working within a live commercial environment required careful planning, extensive coordination with multiple trades, and strict quality control procedures throughout the installation process.
The project also presented significant logistical challenges, including the handling of existing façade components, transportation of materials through the building, and installation of large façade units at height while maintaining programme requirements. Citi Tower has been recognised as one of Europe’s largest commercial office retrofit projects.
Our team provided experienced façade installers, supervisors, quality management, and lifting specialists to support the successful delivery of the works. Through close coordination with the project team, MAR contributed to the safe installation of the new façade system while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, quality assurance, and health and safety.
